The pops and crackles can be made less noticeable by applying a noise reduction effect. As the manual for the USB turntable recommends, I use Audacity to record and edit the recording for the vinyl. As expected, I do hear some pops and crackles when playing/recording the vinyl, but I don't mind them, since they make playback seem special and more authentic. Without it, I would have had to purchase all of these albums on iTunes or Amazon. This USB turntable is more than I could have asked for. Gets the job done well, but not excellentįor the past couple of weeks I have used this turntable to import all the vinyls that my dad had when he was younger.
